State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson announced that Corona-Norco Unified School District’s very own Para-Educator Julie Smith was named as one of the 2013 Classified Employees of the Year!
Every year the State Superintendent of Public Instruction recognizes six outstanding classified employees throughout California for their hard work and dedication.
Julie has worked at Orange Grove High School for the past seven years and personifies the characteristics of hard work, passion and dedication to her students. Principal Joe Almasy describes Julie as, “Someone who does not think of her duties as a job, but a lifestyle that affects the lives of her students daily in a positive manner. I am proud of her.”
Everyone at CNUSD commends Julie for this outstanding recognition and we thank her for making a difference in the lives of the students she serves.
