5-11-2017 – Norco – Michele Lew, an Adult Transition Program teacher at John F. Kennedy Middle College High School, was selected to participate in the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in the Teaching Program for the 2017-18 school year. Recipients of Fulbright grants are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement, as well as demonstrated leadership potential. Michele will be traveling to Palestine this summer, working with the Palestinian Ministry of Education in developing teacher training curriculum with a focus on special education best practices.
