On February 26, 2014, California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) announced the public schools in the state who made their 2013 Honor Roll list. Eight schools in the District were among the 2,099 public schools in the state to receive this honor. The 2013 Honor Roll includes public elementary, middle, and high schools recognized for demonstrating consistently high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and reduction in achievement gaps.
