Radiating smiles were seen on the faces of first graders and senior citizens in the library at Jefferson Elementary on Friday, March 7th as the students read to seniors in the community. This one-on-one reading program known as the ‘Intergenerational Reading Program’ brings together elementary students and seniors in our community for reading time.
