In the spring of 2008, a group of community members and district staff began conversations regarding the need for, and potential viability of, a non-profit foundation for the students served by the Corona-Norco Unified School District to help replenish what budget-cuts have eliminated. The Corona-Norco Schools Educational Foundation (CNSEF) was created in 2010 and quickly found sponsors to help fund grants in the following areas: Academic Intervention Programs Technology Upgrades Arts and Music Programs After-School Enrichment In just a few short years, CNSEF has raised and donated all proceeds back to Corona-Norco schools, totaling nearly $500,000.
