The Corona-Norco Unified School District is again partnering with the community to produce the Annual Principal/Administrator for a Day program. This year, the event will be held at the Corona-Norco Unified School District, Learning Center South Conference Room on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
The purpose of Principal/Administrator for a Day is to improve public education throughout the county. The goals of the day include:
- Increasing public awareness of the importance of supporting and improving public education.
- Providing community leaders with a first-hand perspective of what is happening in our schools.
- Encouraging business and community leaders to become involved in public education.
“Community partnerships are imperative to education and this event underscores that importance, we look forward to joining the community for another outstanding day!” said Superintendent, Dr. Michael Lin.
Principal/Administrator for a Day provides the opportunity for community partners to see what’s going on in their neighborhood schools; it shows tremendous commitment to education and dedication to the community. This year’s program will also pay tribute to the district’s 125th Anniversary; Corona-Norco Unified School District celebrates 125 years since its establishment in 1888.
